After 6 years navigating the world of copywriting and advertising, I was sufficiently jaded. In 2012, I opted out of the corporate world to focus on other forms of writing. During this time, I blogged (and won an award for it), kept a moderately successful (and now defunct) food-blog, and ran a small home-baking business too. Eventually, I launched my career as a full-time freelance writer in 2014.
I am available for assignments and commissioned stories about a variety of things including (but not limited to) features about interesting people and projects, travel, food, art and design, home and decor, life and living, and essays about issues that need words.
I have had bylines appear in:
- Live Mint
- Conde Nast Traveller
- Broadly and Motherboard by VICE
- The Telegraph UK
- The Establishment
- Roads & Kingdoms
- The Hindu
- National Geographic Traveller
- Times City
- Paste Magazine
- Huffington Post
- India Food Network
- Home Review
- The News Minute, to name just a few.
