After 6 years navigating the world of copywriting and advertising, I was sufficiently jaded. In 2012, I opted out of the corporate world to focus on other forms of writing. During this time, I blogged (and won an award for it), kept a moderately successful (and now defunct) food-blog, and ran a small home-baking business too. Eventually, I launched my career as a full-time freelance writer in 2014. In 2018, I was featured in an anthology of essays along with 100 other women writers in GUSH: Menstrual Manifestos Of Our Time, published by Frontenac House, Canada.
I am available for assignments and commissioned stories about a variety of things including (but not limited to) features about interesting people and projects, travel, food, art and design, home and decor, life and living, and essays about issues that need words.
